Today is one of those many days that would go down in the history of Heavy rainfalls in Lagos Nigeria as its devasting effects across the city cannot be overemphasized.
All over Lagos, it’s been a rainy week, since Monday and today rain took it a notch higher as it’s been raining for roughly 4 hours non-stop.
Many houses and residents are currently flooded with rain water, especially people residing in the Lekki area of Lagos and also popular shanty areas like Makoko and the likes.
One of the Major and popular places, experiencing the hazardous effects of the heavy downpours of rain is Marina, Lagos, a place known as one of the Central Business Districts of Lagos.
From the video below, one could see lots of expensive cars submerged in water following a heavy downpour around that area.
