Insecurity: Nigeria will deploy robots and artificial intelligence to fight criminals — Senate

Senate President Ahmed Lawan has said President Buhari is in a hurry to fix Nigeria. Lawan said this while speaking at a function in Kwara State over the weekend.

The Senate president, who urged Nigerians to continue to support the Buhari-led government, said the National Assembly would continue to partner with the executive arm to develop the country.

“The federal government of President Muhammadu Buhari is in a hurry to develop Nigeria.

In four years between 2019 and 2023 by the grace of God, Nigeria would have been turned into an infrastructure laboratory because every part of Nigeria from East to the West to the North to the South would have been impacted.’”he said.

Speaking of Government, The government of the Republic of Benin has extended the incarceration of Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho, for another six months.

Counsel to Igboho, Yomi Alliyu (SAN), disclosed that the Benin Republic government has renewed the incarceration without any hearing.

Alliyu had stated that “the government of the Republic of Benin has renewed the incarceration of Chief Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a Igboho Oosa for another six months even though there is no criminal charge in their file in Cotonou and without extradition request from Nigeria.”
