Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation, has resigned from the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
According to the Nigerian Tribune, this is the case.
According to the report, the former Minister sent “his resignation letter today,” according to sources close to him.
President Muhammadu Buhari ordered all Federal political appointees seeking electoral office in the upcoming general elections to resign last week.
The appointees were given until today, May 16th, 2022, to comply with Buhari’s order.
