One issue that some Npower applicants are unclear about is the distinction between applicant, beneficiaries, and shortlisted as stated plainly on their dashboard.


The physical verification of Npower batch C stream 2 applicants has started. Given the circumstances, we made the decision to publish this post to address the inquiries that some of you have concerning the topic and to acquaint you with your Npower dashboard status.

The term ” Npower applicant” simply means that you have applied to Npower and that your information has been recorded on the Npower Nasims applicants dashboard.



Npower Shortlisted simply means that a Npower applicant has been chosen for the next stage of the Npower application process. This group of applicants has been biometrically screened and is awaiting the next step.

Npower Beneficiaries simply means that an applicant has completed the Npower application process, passed the physical verification, and been assigned to a PPA.


Note: Your application status may appear as Shortlisted on the Nasims dashboard overview page, but you will continue to be listed as an applicant on the screening, verification, and deployment pages until Npower approves your physical verification, at which point your status will change to Beneficiary.



Information on the subject:

Existing Npower Beneficiaries/Volunteers are Npower beneficiaries who are already receiving stipends and are currently serving in various places of primary assignment.

Exited or disengaged Npower Volunteers are Npower beneficiaries who have completed their service term and have been disengaged or graduated from the programme.

Imaginative Npower applicants are people who are not currently Npower beneficiaries but are interested in applying and becoming one.

NASIMS management categorically stated that shortlisting does not guarantee a final place on the programme. The posting to the various PPAs will begin on or before June 26th, 2022.
