Early Life

Bose Ogulu (née Idonije) (born November 19, 1967, 58 years old), in Lagos. Her mother’s identity is unknown, but her father, the renowned Benson Idonije, is known for being Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s band manager and a highly regarded music writer.

He wrote Dis Fela Sef!, the most thorough book about the music legend’s life.

We don’t know where Bose Ogulu attended elementary or high school. She continued to study at the University of Port Harcourt, earning a Bachelor of Arts in translation and a Master of Arts in foreign languages.
