Miss South Africa Set To Launch A Reality Show

In its 64-year history, Miss South Africa will debut a reality series that will feature its top 10.

Crown Chasers, a 10-part reality series, will only be released on the Miss South Africa phone app on July 14 at 6:30 p.m.

The program will take the audience through the Miss SA top 10 journey in the completion, including the Live pageant event which takes place at the SunBet Arena, Time Square, Pretoria on Saturday, August 13.

The final part of the show, which will be accessible to watch on August 15 will honor the winner.

Talking about the series, Miss South Africa Organisation CEO Stephanie Weil said, “This is a fabulous example of the exclusive content we are making available for those fans who have downloaded the Miss South Africa app.”

“The 10 episodes promise fly-on-the-wall footage of everything the 10 finalists go through in the weeks leading up to the procession. The highs and lows, the tears, the smiles, the laughter, the fun, and the wonderful hard work that not only the participants put into it but also the whole Miss SA Organisation team.

This is a first for Miss South Africa fans, so we hope they enjoy it and give it their full support.”

“For the first time in the pageant history, I appointed a reality crew to follow the Top 10 on their journey to the finale and record behind-the-scenes moments. The result makes for really engrossing viewing,” she added,
