Osun 2022: Governor Oyetola breaks silence after defeat; reveals his next move

Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola publicly slams Tinubu, Oyetola and Akande

Adegboyega Oyetola, the governor of Osun State, has spoken out following his loss in the state’s recently held gubernatorial elections.

As he continued to analyze the results of the elections in which Senator Ademola Adeleke defeated him, the governor urged his supporters to maintain their composure. He also noted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken note of the results as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, on Sunday, Oyetola added that the party would be responding appropriately after studying the results and consulting with critical stakeholders of the party.

He called on his supporters to go about their businesses without let or hindrance while charging security operatives to ensure the maintenance of law and order.
