Tate Rosner McRae (born July 1, 2003, 22 years), in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Her mother is of German ancestry, while her father is Scottish. Because of her father’s job, McRae’s family relocated to Oman when she was just 4 years old.
Tanja Rosner, Tate’s mother, is a dance instructor and the founder of the dance company YYC Dance Project. Todd Rosner, Tate’s father, is an attorney. Additionally, she has an older brother, Tucker McRae, who plays hockey.
She began learning to dance with her mother when she was a young girl in Oman, where she also attended the American International School Muscat.
By the age of 8, Tate McRae came back to Calgary along with her family, and McRae took her dance career more seriously. She then participated in the dance competition show with Drewitz Dance Productions. After that, she learned all dance forms through her mother’s dance company, YYC Dance Project.
