Ajax winger, Antony Santos signs for premier league giant, Manchester united.
The Manchester club has being on his trail for the past few weeks and have showed interest since the emergence of new coach Erik ten Hag.
Manchester united looked to strengthen their squad following consecutive defeats to Brighton and Brentford.
They gained redemption after beating long term rival, Liverpool, and Southampton six days later.
New Ajax manager, Alfred Schreuder, has claimed Antony’s imminent move to Manchester United “is about money”.
The Dutch club has agreed a £84.8million deal with United for Antony.
The Brazil winger is expected to fly to the UK this week to finalize the deal, after he went on strike to force the move.
When asked about the transfer, Schreuder told ESPN: “Everything is about money. I think this is sad.
“But this is our world, it’s very sad and I don’t approve that these things at all.”
Manchester United have been chasing the winger for a number of weeks.
The Mail reports the figure that the Dutch club are demanding with the clubs remaining in talks.
