Bournemouth 0 – 3 Arsenal: Saliba scores first Arsenal goal, as Gunners cruise to victory again

Following a thrilling game against Bournemouth, Mikel Arteta’s side was said to have played like Barcelona.

The Gunners have had a strong start to the season with three straight victories, and Gabriel Jesus, a former Manchester City forward, has already “transformed” his new team after a brilliant first half against Bournemouth in which he set up the opening goal with a jinking run and exquisite pass.

Martin Odegaard tapped in first after Jesus’ jinxing run and delightful pass, and his touch set up Odegaard for the second.

A former Barcelona striker likened Jesus’ performance to Messi because of how well the Gunners played.

Only Arsenal and Manchester City have maintained perfect records thus far this season, and they will be expected to maintain this standard.
