Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte have been charged by the FA for the furious touchline bust-up that overshadowed Sunday’s London derby.
Tuchel was fined £35k and banned from the touchline for one match, and Conte was fined £15k. Although the match ended in a tie, 2-2 but Tuchel insists that both Tottenham’s goals should have been disallowed.
Now the pair had accepted the sanction from the FA after their improper bust-up on Sunday. The Fa also handed Tuchel a bigger fine by handing him a one-game ban for his actions during the clash at the London derby.
Kane glanced home Ivan Perisic’s corner in the sixth minute of stoppage time to salvage a point for the visitors who have now won only once in their last 38 visits to Stamford Bridge. It sparked chaotic scenes on the touchline where Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and his Spurs counterpart Antonio Conte clashed for the second time on a sweltering afternoon.
“There’s no hard feelings — I feel like it was a fair tackle from him and a fair tackle from me,” Tuchel said.
