Moshood Edewor, M.K.O. Abiola’s first grandchild, has stated that Ibrahim Babangida, a former military leader who won the June 12, 1993 election, is the best president Nigeria has ever had, notwithstanding the annulment of that election.
Abiola’s election was invalidated by Babangida after he had won. Then Abiola was imprisoned, where he eventually passed away.
In a question and answer session with his followers on Instagram on Sunday, July 31, Moshood was asked who in his opinion is the best President of Nigeria and he responded Babangida. He also wrote about what happened to the businesses MKO had while he was alive.
