Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has been awarded the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for August.
Arteta wins the prize after the Gunners won all five of their fixtures, scoring 13 goals and conceding only four in the process.
They recorded wins against Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Aston Villa, finishing the month top of the table.
Mikel is the second Arsenal manager to win his opening five games of a Premier League season.
Arsene Wenger achieved this record in two successive seasons during our Invincibles era of 2003/04.
This is the third Manager of the Month award for Arteta, who won it two times last season in September and March. This time around, he beat Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola, Graham Potter and Marco Silva.
