Groovy, a former housemate of Beauty who was eliminated from Big Brother Naija season seven, has explained why he was able to end his connection with her so quickly.
You might remember that Beauty was kicked off the television show after a heated argument with her boyfriend Groovy.
While both parties were being urged by fans to advance their romance, Beauty lost her composure and broke several of the show’s rules.
Groovy who was involved in the drama surprised fans when he was spotted with Phyna just days after Beauty was disqualified.
Speaking in a new interview with Ebuka after his eviction, Groovy stated why he made the big move.
According to Groovy, having nothing to hold on to made him choose a new girl after Beauty’s disqualification.
He said: “Because of the resentment I had towards Beauty I didn’t really feel that there was anything to hold back unto…”
This statement has sparked mixed reactions from fans as some supported Groovy while some insisted he should have waited for Beauty.
