I came into the industry straight from a U.K. prison – Burna Boy

Oluwa Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, is a Grammy-winning Nigerian musician who recently shocked his countrymen with a revelation.

Odogwu, as he is often referred to by admirers, revealed via the microblogging service Twitter that he entered the Nigerian music scene right out of Chelmsford prison.

He further stated that Nigerians would be happy if they knew how much of a risk he used to put himself daily, just to make ends meet.

Odogwu maintained that he had no idea that he would live this long, and does not care about being the biggest artist in Nigeria. He is only to be doing what he loves.
