One of the late Oyo monarch Oba Lamidi Adeyemi’s wives, Olori Abbey, has released a number of breathtaking images in honor of her birthday today.
The current Alhaja, as she is jokingly called, thanked her creator for giving her one extra year.
“All glory, honor, and adoration be to you, my Lord and God, which of your favors can I deny?” Thank you very much, Lord. My birthday is today!!! My joy is overflowing today, and I’m +1.”
Olori Abbey stated in another post that she enjoys life the most when things are happening, whether good or bad. It means she is alive to her.
“The September Queen.” I’m so grateful for life!! When things are going well, I have a good time. Whether they are good or bad things. That means you are still alive. Today, join me in celebrating life!”
This comes just a few days after Olori Abbey mourned the monarch’s death. Olori Abbey shared photos of herself with the Alaafin’s frame to commemorate the late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, who died in April.
Current Alhaja, as she was affectionately known, prayed for their creator to be pleased with his soul.
“Five months have passed. Okomi Atanda Morodiya’Omo ADENIRAN, may Almighty Allah continue to be pleased with your Soul.”
