Asa drags Joeboy to court over copyright infringement

Asa, a legendary singer, has filed a $300 million naira lawsuit against Joeboy for copyright infringement. Joeboy’s new song “Contour,” she claims, samples her work without her permission.

The Nigerian music industry is currently being rocked by the unexpected news of a lawsuit filed by one of its veteran female singers.

This lawsuit was filed a few days ago, and the two artists have been engaged in a verbal battle.

This issue is beyond reconciliation as Joeboy is defiant and Asa is also poised to pursue the matter legally and the conclusion is beyond the horizon.
