Bola Tinubu, the 2023 APC presidential candidate, has opened up about his relationship with Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
On Monday, former Lagos State governor Bola Tinubu revealed to the Kano chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria that the RCCG general overseer christened him “Abraham.”
“The day my wife was ordained a pastor, I was there. Pastor Adeboye gave me the name Abraham,”
“I said what’s the meaning? He said the father of the nation.” Tinubu said.
Meanwhile, Tinubu’s choice of a Muslim running mate in the person of former Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima has been met with criticisms from Christians, with many accusing the ruling APC of an agenda to Islamize Nigeria.
