2023: Apostle Suleman, Other Clerics Pray For Peter Obi In Edo Before Campaign Rally

Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, hosted Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, at his residence in Benin, Edo State, on Friday, shortly before the latter’s campaign rally.

During the encounter, Apostle Suleman, who appreciated Mr. Obi’s presence, prayed to God to keep him safe.

Also, upon his arrival in Edo State, Mr Peter Obi visited cardinals and bishops at the centre for the Pastoral Congress in Benin City, Edo State, where he received prayers.

Obi’s visit to Edo State comes a day after he visited the scene of the fire explosion at Ogbo Ogwu Market, Onitsha, Anambra State.

Detailing his observation upon arriving the market, Mr Obi lamented the level of destruction of lives and properties resulting from the inferno.

He commiserated with the victims on Twitter saying: “Yesterday, I visited the scene of the fire explosion at Ogbo Ogwu Market, Onitsha.

“I observed first hand, the level of destruction of lives and properties resulting from the inferno. I commiserated with the victims and assured them of my support in these trying times.

“I also urge the government and other well meaning Nigerians to help those affected by this fire disaster in rebuilding their means of livelihood.”

Mr Obi’s Recent Presidential Campaign Rally




On Thursday, the Labour Party presidential candidate had arrived Abia State for his presidential campaign and was greeted by a mammoth crowd.

Reacting to a video from the scenes, Nollywood actor cum spokesman for Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo posited that the love for Mr Obi isn’t ordinary.

On Twitter, he wrote: “Someone should please tell me what is happening in Abia State. Am short of words. This love for @PeterObi is not ordinary, it can only be God. Whoever is praying for the success of this movement come 2023, God bless you. God is answering our prayers and I give Him all the glory. “

Mr Peter Obi arrived Abia State a day after he departed from Benue State in his ‘ Obidient- inscribed’ airplane following a successful presidential campaign held at the IBB Square, Makurdi.

Mr Obi had on Wednesday campaigned in Benue State ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

While in Markurdi, Benue State capital, People With Disabilities (PWD) made interesting highlights at the rally.

One notable highlight is the moment Mr Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed struck a pose while kneeling with a physically challenged man.

Mr Obi, who made a promise to PWDs in the country after the rally, wrote on Twitter saying: “People With Disabilities (PWD) were well represented at the Makurdi rally today. My commitment to their welfare is unfettered. Glad to meet with them.”

Reacting, someone wrote: “Mr Obi truly has the qualities to become Nigeria’s next president.”
