Video Of Buhari Smiling After Okey Bakassi Told Him Not To Ban ‘Ponmo’ Because Of Men That Drink Beer Trends

A video shows President Muhammadu Buhari smiling when famed comedian Okey Bakassi pleaded to him to halt his intention to prohibit the eating of animal skin, popularly known as ponmo, throughout the country.

Okey Bakassi, who made the request during a TVC News event, made Buhari smile when he reminded the president of the importance of ponmo in the country.

“But some of us love ponmo with stew and sauce. If they ban this ponmo we don’t know how we will cope. I don’t know if you have tasted ponmo lately Mr President, that thing goes well with cold beer, it helps manage stress,” joked Okey Bakassi who got everybody at the event laughing.
