Singer Kizz Daniel has left his fans confused, as well as disappointed over his absence at the FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup opening ceremony on Sunday, November 20.
The ‘Buga’ star had seemingly confirmed he will be performing at the opening ceremony on his social media accounts, months after he expressed interest in performing at FIFA Qatar, 2022.
However, his fans became worried when the singer did not show up on stage alongside another Nigerian singer, CKay who was also slated to perform.
The main vocalist of the Korean pop band BTS, Jung Kook, lit up the Al Bayt Stadium during the event, but no Nigerian artiste was seen on stage.
Nigerians stormed Twitter to express concern over the singer’s absence and others at the event.
Kizz Daniel is yet to react as to why he was absent at the opening ceremony.
