“I Get High Blood Pressure Whenever I Use Social Media, Nigerians Abuse Me” – Tinubu Reveals In New Video

Tinubu Reacts As U.S. Court Released Documents Of His Drug Dealing, Money Laundering Case

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, claims he has stopped using social media because it causes him to have high blood pressure when he reads from the platforms.

Tinubu lamented how Nigerians harass him and that he now obtains information from his children or staff to prevent hurting his health.

“I don’t read social media anymore; they abuse hell out of me. If i read it i get high blood pressure, i get angry. I don’t read it, so if i want to hear anything, my children or any of my workers will tell me,” revealed the presidential candidate in a viral video.

Tinubu’s revelation comes in the wake of funny reactions trailing his recent video where he spoke unintelligibly.

Although Festus Keyamo, his spokesman, claimed he (Tinubu) was throwing a shade at his opponents in a trending video, Nigerians have continued to make jest of it.

In the video, Tinubu could be heard saying, “A town hall different from balablu blubu bulaba.

Reacting via Twitter, Festus Keyamo wrote: “Listen to the sense of humour of @officialABAT. He says he prefers a proper town hall meeting to the gibberish his opponents say elsewhere. He practically demonstrates the gibberish they say by uttering those tongue-twisting words to show the nonsense his opponents say elsewhere.”

The video had led many positing that Mr Tinubu is mentally and physically unfit to hold a public office.

Meanwhile, the speculations that Tinubu is an octogenarian who is battling an illness have continued to spread widely on social media.

During a recent rally, a photo clearly showing the moment Tinubu needed a support to raise his hand up further ignited the speculations on social media.

To this end, Nigerians detailed their observations as many posit that the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari is way stronger in health than Tinubu despite the former’s frequent medical trips abroad.

@realkingsley wrote: “The signs are visible and loud. If they are blind we are not. If they are deaf we are not. If they are foolish we are not. We must focus on the signs. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not fit or qualified to run for any office.”

Notwithstanding, the controversy surrounding the real age of Tinubu took a shocking twist on social media after a United States Court released documents showing that he was 58 years old in 1993 when he stood trial for his drug dealing, money laundering case in Chicago.

On social media, netizens called the attention of Nigerians to the document which have continued to trend online.

@Lara Matthew wrote: “It is now clear that Tinubu is 87 years old and not the 70 he claims.”

@JaroMark wrote: “Tinubu has been lying to us all this while. We hope he regrets this.”

Opposition Calls For Tinubu’s Disqualification

In a related story, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, reacted to the wide reports of Tinubu’s criminal forfeiture as it called for his disqualification in the forthcoming presidential election.

According to the PDP, Tinubu remains ineligible to contest the presidential elections by virtue of section 127 section (1)(d) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).

The PDP, however, called on INEC not to succumb to any form of blackmail of the APC but to deliver good judgement and disqualify Bola Ahmed Tinubu from contesting the presidential elections.
