Marc-Austine Afam, better known as Dmac YSD, a rising Nigerian singer, has spoken out about the upcoming hotly contested Nigerian presidential election.

In a phone interview with Kemi Filani News, the Anambra state Indegene stated that while he supports a young, vibrant, and hardworking candidate, he would not refuse any offer to do a political song for any other politician.

He said: “For this forthcoming presidential election, I’m for the candidate that is young, vibrant, industrious. The candidate who is ready to heal the country and restore it to its glory. Well meaning Nigerians must by all means rid themselves of primitive sentiments and vote a credible candidate. There’s no fence sitting in this election. I am openly campaigning for a new Nigeria led by the Labour Party candidate Mr. Peter Obi.”

My lifestyle is quite simple, I mind my business a lot, and spend more off-work time in the studio. I only relate with a few friends, especially in the music industry).”
