Early Life
Adetola Abdullateef Adedimeji, aka Lateef Adedimeji (born February 1, 1984, 42 years old), is from Abeokuta in Ogun state. He is the fourth child of a family of six children. His mum, Kudirat Adedimeji, is a trader who hails from Oyo State.
Education
Lateef started his education at Ire Akari Primary School, Isolo, Lagos State. He then attended Ilamoye Grammar School, Okota, Lagos, for his secondary school education. He also attended a performance studio workshop at Onikan, Lagos State, where he received his performance training.
His writing and acting skills were also developed in a Non-governmental organization (NGO) (Community Life Project). He graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.
Career
Lateef Adedimeji began his acting career in 2007. He started his career with dancing and was enrolled in a dancing school. Lateef Adedimeji is an Actor and Screenwriter. He has played various stage roles since he was 15.

Still, he started acting in 2007 when he joined Orisun TV. He started working in secondary school, and an NGO picked him to serve as an informer and counselor during an HIV/AIDS campaign.
His role was to educate the general public on sex-related issues and human rights by creating video content in which he acted. Fans know him for playing a dynamic character who cries often. He has starred in several Nigerian films alongside notable names in the movie industry. 2016 he won the 2016 Best of Nollywood Awards for Best Actor in a Lead Role (Yoruba).

2015 he was nominated for the City People Entertainment Awards for the 2015 Most Promising Actor of the Year. Lateef is widely confused with being related to famous Nigerian actor Odunlade Adekola due to their uncanny resemblance and sense of humor.
He was equally opportune to work with UNICEF due to his writing prowess. He was awarded the face of Nollywood male during the E-Nigeria Newspaper Night of Honour on 30 October 2021.

On 18 December 2021, Adedimeji wedded his partner, an actress, Oyebade Adebimpe, in a colorful style. Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe, a Yoruba power couple, celebrated their first wedding anniversary on December 18th, 2022. Mo Bimpe celebrated their wedding day by posting a video collage of their traditional ceremony on Instagram. The actress and film producer revealed that agreeing to marry him was her best decision.
