“Welcome to motherhood” – Colleagues celebrate Adekemi Taofeek as she welcomes first child

“Welcome to motherhood

Adekemi Taofeek has become a proud mother after the birth of her first child.

This wonderful news was shared by her colleague, Adediwura Gold, who announced it on her verified Instagram page as follows: “I rejoice with you and yours, my darling. “Welcome to the world of motherhood.” She penned a letter.

As previously reported in December 2020 that videos from fast-rising Nollywood actress Adekemi Taofeek’s wedding ceremony had surfaced on social media.

Sharing videos and photos from the event on Instagram, the actress wrote;

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction. Perhaps it’s our imperfects that make us so perfect one another. You have my whole heart for my whole life Akanbi..FIRST STEP TO FOREVER.”

Sola Kosoko, a Nollywood actress, also had a baby boy in January 2023.

On Sunday, the daughter of veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko took to Instagram to share a beautiful photo of herself and her son, as well as express gratitude to God for adding another tiny foot to her family.

“Hurray Hurray Hurray!!!! My Prince charming has arrived. Celebrate with me once again as i welcome my son. God has been faithful and I do not take His faithfulness for granted. Glory be to God Almighty.” She wrote in excitment.

In an earlier interview, Sola Kosoko had said it was fun growing up in a polygamous home although, she would not advise polygamy for anyone.

She said, “It was fun growing up. One major thing I commend my daddy for is the bond among all his children. You could hardly tell whose child is this in our family except we tell you and which we hardly do. We are one united big family and the bond gets stronger each day. But I will not advise anyone to go into it because it has its negative side.”

Speaking on celebrities bringing personal issues especially marriage issues to social media, the new mum had said, “It is something I don’t support at all. You don’t bring marital or private matters to the court of public opinion. In my own opinion, private lives should not be lived in the public. Interference and unsolicited diverse opinions have destroyed many marriages and led some people into depression. It is advisable to resolve private issues privately.”
