She said in the song ”I was out of your league that’s why you’ve settled for someone just like you. I’m worth two 22-year-olds. You swapped a Ferrari for a [Renault] Twingo/You swapped a Rolex for a Casio.”
Since its release on Thursday, January 12, the song has garnered over 107 million views on YouTube. The song which raked up 63 million views in 24 hours, is now the most-watched new Latin song in YouTube history.
This is the third song Shakira has dedicated to their breakup. The former couple were together for more than a decade and share two sons.
