Bella Okague, the second runner-up on BBNaija Season 7, has responded to those who have questioned her culinary abilities.
Chidinma was born Esther Okagbue, the reality TV star, claimed she is an excellent cook but dislikes demonstrating her abilities in the kitchen because it is too stressful.
Big Bella also claimed that cooking cannot keep a man or a home together.
She wondered where the naysayers got the story, noting those who would normally complain about her not cooking.
More importantly, she strives to make her life easier and less stressful than it could be.
She urged her detractors to abandon the ‘false’ narrative, arguing that cooking does not, in and of itself, keep a home.
“Any small thing, Bella can’t cook, Bella learn how to cook,” the 25-year-old content creator said. Bella cooking keeps a house running, blah blah blah. I’m not sure where you got this from.
“I’m a good cook that just doesn’t like cooking. As long as the people that should complain, don’t mind. Please spare me the yarns.
“Cooking does not keep a home. You that have been cooking, Howfar? I’m all about soft life, I don’t like stress or see the need to stress. I work so hard to be able to make life easier for myself. Soft life or nothing.
“I wanted to say I blame society but no I blame them. Because we are all born in this same society that teaches young girls to cook just to keep a man but some of us are wise enough to know nothing can keep a man that dose not want to.”
