Liberia’s president, George Oppong Weah, is mourning with the family of the deceased footballer. He has demonstrated that he is with the family during these difficult times. Providing proof that he donated $10,000 to the family.
He sent the donation via a delegation he sent to grieve with the family. This occurred on the 22nd of February 2023.
Pastor Kwame Ayew, a former Ghanaian footballer, led the delegation. Many of these gestures are being made in memory of the deceased. Atsu will live on in the hearts of many people and will never be forgotten.
