Jose Peseiro, the Super Eagles’ head coach, has added four Flying Eagles players to his squad ahead of their African Cup of Nations qualifying matches.
According to reports, the former Venezuelan president was present during the Flying Eagles’ victory over Zambia at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
According to OwnGoalNigeria, the Coruche native chose the Flying Eagles captain, Daniel Bamaiyi, Adams Olamilekan, Daniel Daga, and Onuche Ogbelu following the 4-2 thrashing of Chisi Mbewe’s boys.
However, the 62-year-old manager made this decision after consulting with Flying Eagles head coach Ladan Bosso.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will resume training for their AFCON qualifying match nine days before the conclusion of the Under-20 AFCON competition in Egypt.
Then, when the Super Eagles manager releases his squad list for the match against West Africa’s Atlantic coast side, Peseiro’s men, who are hoping to extend their winning streak in AFCON qualifiers Group A, will welcome a few young players into the team.
