“He is a casualty of PDP’s reputation” Reactions as Singer, Banky W loses to Attah

2023 Elections: Labour Party’s Thaddeus Attah sends Banky W home as he wins Eti-Osa Federal Constituency Seat

Social media users are reacting to Bankole Wellington, also known as Banky W, losing his election to Attah.

The “Yes or No” singer has lost the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat to Labour Party candidate Thaddeus Attah.

Attah was declared the winner of the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to Prof Funmilayo Odukoya, who is INEC Returning Officer, Attah pulled a total of 24,075 votes to defeat his rival, Banky W of the People Democratic Party (PDP) who gathered 18,666 votes, and Mr Babajide Obanikoro of APC, who had 16,901 votes.

Reacting to it, many social media users opined that Banky W’s choice of party is to be partially blamed for his loss.

According to them, if Banky W had camped with Labour Party, there are higher chances of him winning the election.
