Early Life
Tana Adelana (born on 24 December 1984, 41 years old) is an Igbo girl from Nara Unateze in Nkanu East LGA of Enugu State. She was raised in a traditional Catholic royal family, the last in a family of ten. Her father is no longer alive.
Education
She attended Treasure Land Nursery and Primary School in Surulere for her primary education and St. Francis Catholic Secondary School in Idimu, Lagos.
Tana graduated from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, obtaining a B.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning. After that, I got a diploma certificate in makeup and style from the makeup art school in London (South African campus).
She later attended the Metropolitan School of Business and Management in the United Kingdom and earned a special executive master’s certificate in Leadership and Management from the Metropolitan.
Career
Tana Adelana made a grand transition to Nollywood in 2011, and her debut was in the TV series Disclosure (a B Concept production), Flatmates, and In-laws.
She appeared in several other TV series before being featured in her first full-length movie, 2 Brides and a Baby. Though it was her first appearance on the screen, the film was a hit in the market and, thus, exposed her to millions of fans.
In 2012, her actor friend, Yvonne Nelson, offered her a role in her movie Single and Married, and she was curious if she (Tana) would like to feature in it.
