Tolu Oniru, a media personality, narrowly avoided being embarrassed at a public dinner after her bank failed to process her financial transactions.
It is no longer news that Nigerians have been cash-stranded for weeks and have had to resort to alternative methods of cash withdrawal due to a scarcity of naira notes in banks. In fact, when customers attempt to make mobile transactions, banking apps may also fail.
Toolz wrote about her experience on her Instagram story a few hours ago.
“These banks can disgrace you ehn, so I’m trying to pay for dinner, first POS declines then 2nd….people are looking. I legit want to stand on the chair and say, I swear I have the money guys, it’s just this bank doesn’t want me to be great”
