Toyin Abraham and Kemi Afolabi, two popular Nollywood actresses, recently got into a heated argument during an Instagram live session.
Toyin, who has been trolled repeatedly since declaring All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu as her preferred candidate during the live session, made it clear that she was not paid to support him.
According to Toyin, as a Nigerian, it’s her right to support and vote for whoever she chooses, and she shouldn’t be bullied for her choice.
She went on to say that the curses heaped on her daily would have no effect on her because she supports Tinubu voluntarily and not because she has been bribed.
Kemi Afolabi, on the other hand, tried to let her colleague, Toyin, realise why Nigerians might be angry with her choice.
She made reference to the October 20, 2020, EndSARS incident and the deplorable state of government hospitals in Lagos State.
Toyin Abraham then retorted that Kemi Afolabi was only trying to please the audience by saying what she felt they wanted to hear.
“Choose your candidate you can’t bully me, Kemi you are saying all these things because you feel that’s what people want to hear. Is that the only problem on ground ? why are you not talking about hunger?”. Toyin said in part.
