Scammers have frequently seen the need to use the personalities of public figures to carry out their evil acts, by posing as certain celebrities and using their identities to extort money from unsuspecting victims, who may have the impression that they are dealing with certain celebrities in reality, when this is rarely the case.
For reality star, Bella Okagbue, she has cried out over scammers using her to defraud unsuspecting victims, as she shared a tweet that reads
” I don’t know how else to go about this. I will never ask you to pay for anything. I do not sell phones and I don’t make use of my Facebook account. Please guys, help report this page. This isn’t me and that isn’t my account details. Scam. ” She disclosed.
People have to really be careful when they deal with certain accounts to portray themselves to be certain celebrities, especially when these accounts are not verified, there is a need to be very cautious and ensured that their request to have money sent isn’t adhered to.
