Singer Davido’s fans stir reactions as they protest in Lagos over his absence on social media (Video)


Fans of award-winning Afrobeats singer Davido have caused a stir online by staging a protest in his honor.

His fans went above and beyond for him, staging a protest in Lagos in response to his absence from social media.


Davido has been out of the spotlight since the untimely death of his first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, whom he shares with his now-wife Chioma Rowland.


Davido promised to return to social media in March, when he will release his new album. However, the singer has not appeared on the platform, which has worried his fans.

Some of his fans took to the streets of Lagos to show their support for him, holding placards urging the singer to return to social media.

Social media users had lots to say over the trending video, while some slam them for chasing clout and seeking validation from the singer, others expressed how much they miss OBO.
