Desmond Elliot, a Nollywood actor, and politician, and his proud supporters are celebrating his re-election bid in Lagos.
A viral video showed the actor and others rejoicing as they awaited the election results.
Surulere 1 constituency held a victory night for him, and people were seen chanting victory songs for him.
This comes after the politician paid a thank-you visit to the speaker of the House of Representatives.
Desmond Elliot thanked him for being his father, mentor, leader, and national speaker in a video he shared.
