Folarin Falana, a popular Nigerian musician and actor, has told Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu that he was not elected by the people of Lagos but chose himself.
Sanwo-Olu, the All Progressive Congress’ governorship candidate in Saturday’s governorship and House of Assembly elections, was declared the winner by INEC returning officer Segun Agbaje.

On his Twitter account, Sanwo-Olu stated:
“Thank you Lagosians!
“I am deeply humbled and grateful for the overwhelming support and trust of the good people of Lagos State. I am honored to be re-elected as your Governor and pledge to continue to work tirelessly to deliver a better Lagos for all.
Thank you for believing in me”
Responding to the appreciation message, Falana who is fondly regarded as Falze told the govenernor he is not re-elected by Lagosians but he selected himself.
He wrote on twitter: “You were not re-elected. You selected yourself. “
“Everybody saw it unfold. You are only deceiving yourselves,” he said.
