Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress, has removed all political posts from her Instagram page.

Creebhills noticed on Funke’s Instagram page that the Box Office queen deleted all political posts involving herself and her principal, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, better known as Jandor, after they ran for governor and deputy governor positions in Lagos state under the People’s Democratic Party.

Funke’s action comes just hours after the 2023 gubernatorial elections in Lagos were held amid allegations of thuggery and tribalism.

Recall that earlier that Funke Akindele lost her polling unit 019, Ita Aro square, Àga/Ijimu ward in Ikorodu, Lagos State to the incumbent governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
