I Used To Smoke Tobacco, & I Felt Sorry For All Those Christians Who Couldn’t - Kenneth Copeland

Kenneth Copeland is the founder and presiding Pastor of Kenneth Copeland Ministries in Texas.

The cleric took to his ministry’s official Facebook page to share a message he delivered on what it takes for a believer to grow spiritually in God’s word and thus leave out the life of mindfulness.

According to the cleric, he used to reason before becoming a Christian that, as a sinful person back then, I used to smoke tobacco, and I always felt sorry for all the Christians who couldn’t.

According to the cleric, those believers back then were missing out on what he perceived to be supposed life enjoyment. But all of that has changed now, and he has become a Christian.

According to the cleric, now that he is a believer, he has no desire for tobacco. It is not even a part of his thoughts, let alone his way of life.

The cleric, in his words of exhortation for people, has stressed that, as a person, that is the kind of thing that happens to you as you feed and renew your mind on the Word of God. The renewal of the mind does not necessarily happen quickly or easily; your flesh may fight and buck for a while because it had been trained to go the way of the world for so long. But, as revealed by the cleric, if you stick with the word and keep growing, your flesh can develop the habit of righteousness just like it developed the habit of unrighteousness.

The cleric has advised believers in his words in regards to constant growth in the Lord by studying the Bible, always. According to the cleric, he has stressed in his words that, as a believer, do not starve your spirit by trying to get by on just a little spiritual milk now and then. Develop the habit of feeding on the solid food of the Word every day and find out what real maturity is all about in the Lord.
