Early Life
Linda Adesuwa Osifo (born 27 July 1991) in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. She grew up with her grandmother and moved to Canada at 16; she spent most of her adult years in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, before relocating to Lagos, Nigeria, to pursue her acting career. She is the first daughter and middle child of her family.

After graduating from St Thomas Aquinas High School in Nigeria, She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York University in Toronto, Canada, in 2013.
Career
Linda Osifo appeared in the Nigerian film industry in 2013, but her career as an actress predates Nollywood. She started acting in 2012. In 2012, she made her acting debut in Family Secrets, directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka, in New Jersey, USA.
Linda had participated in a beauty pageant, hosted an awards show, and hosted a TV show in Toronto, Canada, and she hoped that returning to her home country would help her achieve her career goals.
When she returned to Nigeria in late 2013, she starred in ‘King Akubueze,’ her first Nollywood film. This, of course, came after producers repeatedly rejected her due to her accent.
Making it in Nollywood was not easy for the ex-beauty queen, who revealed how difficult it was at first. She was able to scale through, thanks to her determination and open-mindedness. Desperate Housewives Africa, produced by Ebonylife Studios, was her big break—the Pan-African version of the American television series Desperate Housewives premiered in 2015.
She played ‘Nina Fire’ in the popular Nigerian soap opera Tinsel. Linda appeared as Adesuwa Dakolo in EbonyLife’s spin-off drama series ‘Fifty’ in 2017 and as Noweyhon in Africa Magic’s television series ‘Jemeji’. Osifo co-hosts the game show “Give ‘n’ Take National Jackpot” with Segun Arinze.
Philanthropy
Linda’s philanthropic aspirations paved the way for her LAO Foundation, an acronym for Love and Oneness, an NGO tasked with eradicating poverty and illiteracy in Nigeria and Africa. The Love And Oneness Foundation (LAO Foundation) has donated seven computer sets to the Little Saints Orphanage in Shasha, Akowonjo, Lagos.
