Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress turned politician, is preparing for the 2023 gubernatorial elections, which will be held on March 11th.
Taking to Instagram, the mother of one, who is the African Democratic Congress (ADC) deputy governorship candidate in Rivers State, shared a photo of herself with her bags packed, revealing that the date for the gubernatorial elections is on her mind, along with a leadership mindset.
She wrote: “Movement… March 11th on my mind. Leadership mindset…”
Recalls that Tonto Dikeh was nominated as the deputy governorship candidate of Rivers State under the African Democratic Congress.
Tonte Ibraye, governorship candidate of ADC made the announcement on his Instagram page on Friday, 24th June, 2022.
The announcement reads: “After series of consultations with leaders of our party the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State and the national level, I’m glad to announce Amb. Tonto Dikeh ( tontolet )as my running mate for the 2023 gubernatorial election in Rivers State,” he wrote.
“We are pleased to welcome her to the #RiversRescueMission2023 as we strive to improve the standard of living for everyone in our dear Rivers State. Please join our press conference at 11 am today. #TonteTonto2023.”
