Ubi Franklin, a talent manager, is standing by his friend Davido in the midst of their feud.
Davido shocked the internet on Tuesday when he removed his profile picture and deleted all but three of his posts.
The singer, who has more than 26 million Instagram followers, left three posts: one of his late son Ifeanyi Adeleke, one of him and his wife Chioma Adeleke, and one of his performance at the World Cup in Qatar.
Many of his crew members, friends, fans, and social media users have followed in his footsteps since then. Isreal DMW, Mayorkun, Dremo, his lawyer Bobo Ajuda, better known as Prince, and others have removed their profile photos.
In solidarity with Davido, Ubi Franklin joined the new wave. Kemi Filani did a check on his page and noticed that the singer’s Instagram page is without a profile photo. However, Ubi Franklin didn’t delete all his posts as at the time of reporting he has 502 posts on his feed.
Taking to his Instagram story, Ubi Franklin announced the return of Davido.
He wrote, “001 is coming”.
