Netizens have reacted negatively to the new release of Nigerian singer Asake, which comes just a few days after Afrobeat superstar Davido’s new album, TIMELESS.
Around 9 p.m. on Wednesday night, Asake released a new single titled 2:30, which has sparked interest among Nigerian music fans.
A popular music blog recently polled netizens for their thoughts on the new song, but it appears that many of them have yet to hear it.
Instead, they are still listening to Davido’s latest album and have used the occasion to criticize Asake for releasing a new song at such a critical juncture.
