Mutale Melissa Mwanza (born October 22, 1987, 38 years old), in Kitwe, in the Copperbelt province, Zambia. Mutale Mwanza relocated to South Africa after leaving Flava FM to pursue greener pastures. In 2013, she became the first Zambian woman to create, co-produce, and deliver her debut show, Kumwesu, a lifestyle and entertainment show broadcast on DSTV Africa Magic.
Mutale went on to work for Hot FM, one of the country’s most prominent radio stations, where she hosted the Red Hot Breakfast Show.
Her career at Hot FM came to an abrupt end in February 2021. Her contract was terminated for alleged cyberbullying that broke the company’s policies and brand.
