Peggy Ovire Enoho, also known as Peggy, is a Nigerian model, film producer, and actress who was named “Most Promising Actress Of The Year (English)” at the 2015 City People Entertainment Awards.

Early Life

Peggy Ovire was (born October 22, 1985) in Lagos State, South-Western Nigeria, and grew up there. Currently 37 years old, the actress hails from Ughelli Delta State, South-Southern Nigeria.

Despite being the youngest of her parent’s six children, she was not lavished with attention. Her father was a strict disciplinarian, so she did not receive preferential treatment as the last born in the family.

Ovire was born in Ughelli, Delta State, Nigeria. She was born into a family of six children, with her parents as the last child. Ovire was born in Lagos state and has spent most of her life.

Education

Ovire attended Itire Nursery and Primary School in Surulere and AUD Secondary School in Surulere, Lagos State.

Ovire began her postsecondary education at Delta State University, Abraka, but later transferred to Ambrose Alli University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance.

Career

Peggy Ovire began her career as a model before making her Nollywood debut, as she explained in an interview with The Punch print media house. She began her modeling career and was named the Most Beautiful Girl on Campus (2003) at Delta State University.

She was also the Miss Nigeria Galaxy beauty pageant winner in 2006. She was also named “Most Promising Actress Of The Year” at the 2015 City People Entertainment Awards.

Aside from acting, Peggy supplements her income through her business ventures; she owns a clothing boutique in Lagos called Hubs Contour. She is also the Chief Executive Officer of Peggy’s World. She went on to say that Uche Nancy produced her first film.

Peggy Ovire’s film career took off after she appeared in the TV series Husbands of Lagos. Ovire claimed that the TV series helped her gain notoriety and that she had become well-known outside Nigeria. She was a member of the Rising Sun cast crew alongside Ifeanyi Kalu.
