Early Life

Temitope Basira Solaja (born February 14, 1992). She is a native of Sagamu, Ogun State, in Nigeria’s Southwest region. She is from the country’s Yoruba tribe and spent much of her childhood there.

There have been no reports of her parents or siblings. According to some media reports, she is the first child of a family of six, and none of her siblings appears to have achieved the level of fame she currently enjoys.

Education

Temitope spent her childhood in Ogun state. She reportedly received her secondary education at Ikene Community High School before enrolling at Tai Solarin University of Education and graduating with a degree in Mass Communication.

Career

Temitope is one of many actresses whose current career results from a childhood passion. The Yoruba actress remembered imitating most of her favorite actresses and aspired to be a movie star even as a child.

Her dreams came true when, during her first year at university, she was introduced to a well-known Yoruba movie actor, producer, and MC, Afeez Eniola, who was in town to film his film, “Bamitale.”

Tope, primarily known as a Yoruba actress, has also appeared in several English-language films. One such film is Tayo Sobola’s 2015 film Bella Bella, written and produced by Tayo Sobola and starred by Yemi Blaq, Bukola Ajayi, and Biodun Okeowo, among others.
