Nigerian singer and Mavin Records signee, Ugbekile David Osemeke, popularly known as Boy Spyce, has revealed that there’s an afrobeat artist recording a song titled ‘Hakimi’ in honour of Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi.
Recall that recent news on social media showed how Hakimi caught his ex-wife, Hiba Abouk, off guard in their divorce process by putting all his assets in his mother’s name to deny the mother of his two kids a juicy divorce settlement.
Boy Spyce disclosed this via his Twitter page on Sunday.
He wrote,
“Lowkey, I know there’s one Afrobeat artiste somewhere recording a song called Hakimi.”
Over the years, Nigerian afrobeats artists have made it a habit to record songs about football stars, fellow music celebrities, and social media trends.
