Many hours ago, Daddy Freeze went live on Facebook in response to some comments about social media influencers and the incoming administration’s introduction of a social media regulation bill.
“Very soon, the federal government of Nigeria may introduce a social media bill for our influencers,” Daddy Freeze said.
They may arrest you if you (as an influencer) say something (wrong) about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu or even Peter Gregory Obi under that bill.
The bill will be written in such a way that social media influencers must have an identity attached to their names, making arrests easier.”
“In France, there was a social media bill that was recently passed,” Daddy Freeze continued. All French influencers must now notify their followers if they intend to post a filtered image.
After seeing how beautiful or handsome an influencer is, the government noticed that some people become emotionally down (depressed). That is why the bill was introduced.”
Lastly, Daddy Freeze said, “I want you all to know that all these politicians have lawyers. If you say anything wrong about the president-elect, his lawyers might take note and file a case. We all need to learn from this singer Portable issue and be mindful of our engagements on social media.”
