Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, has challenged Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar to prove her charges against him in court.
Suleman requests, through his lawyer, Dr. Abdul Mahmud, that Abubakar establish her charges during the trial of a 1 billion Naira defamation action launched against her last year.
His lawyer stated in a statement on Friday that his client was “unjustly attacked, maligned, and defamed” by the actress in order to blackmail him for monetary gain.
The lawyer informed the cleric that he would seek justice in court for her slanderous remarks.
After Halima Abubakar and her attorney failed to appear in court, the trial was rescheduled for June 6th and 7th, 2023.
