Nigerian singer and songwriter, Akanbi Bamidele Brett, who is popularly known as Cheque, has tendered a public apology to Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido over alleged disrespect to Chioma.
Cheque recently found himself at the centre of a social media storm after a video, which has since been deleted.
Questions had surrounded the reason for this apology as numerous speculations indicated that the singer had shared a now-deleted video many had considered disrespectful to the wife of Davido, Chioma.
His apology reads:
“Never meant any form of disrespect to Davido. baba has been there for me anytime I need am, even on zoom remix. I no just just reason am well before posting. Thank you and love you big bro .. OBO”
